With Tim Tebow's minor league baseball career at the single A level well underway, I thought it would be the right time to have an update on how things are going for Tim. and his minor league team, the Columbus Fireflies.
After 9 games played and 34 at bats, Tebow is batting a lowly .176 which is bad, but he does have 2 Home Runs and 9 runs batted in which is very good. He has the most HR on the team and the second most RBI behind Mets top prospect, Dave Winningham.
On the other end, Tim will need to raise his batting average to about .250 to move up to the next level. Despite the low batting average, it's still way too early to bet against Tim and I'm sure that he'll get better but needs a few 2-hits game to boost his average.
